What is Eye Tracking

Eye Tracking is a technology that makes it possible for us to know exactly where a person is looking. Eye tracking works by reflecting invisible infrared light onto an eye, recording the reflection pattern with a sensor system, and then calculating the exact point of gaze using a geometrical model. Once the point of gaze is determined, it can be visualized and shown on a computer monitor. Currently, some of the major uses for Eye Tracking analysis are academic research (e.g. cognitive science, psychology and medical research), shopper research, market research (e.g. evaluations of advertising or package design) and in website usability studies. You can purchase or rent Eye Tracking hardware and software for your own use, or you can simply hire the EyeTrackLab facility for one or more days to conduct a single study. Alternatively, you can commission us to conduct an eye tracking project for you. Objective Digital is the Australasian reseller for Tobii Technology Eye Tracking hardware and software. Rent an eye tracker month to month. Our eye tracking lab in Sydney (EyeTrackLab) can be hired for one or more days to conduct your own eye tracking studies, with or without the support of one of our eye tracking consultants. Find out exactly where your people are looking! If you have a project which requires eye tracking research (e.g. shopper research, market research or usability testing), we can conduct the eye tracking study for you. We deliver a customised 1 day workshop in 'Eye Tracking'. The workshop covers all aspects of Eye Tracking - Sydney and Australia wide.
